[Classes 18 and 94 (ii)] In the manufacture of boxes, bags &c. from sleeves of paper, cardboard &c., the ends of the sleeve being folded in overlapping relation and secured by adhesive, means are provided for holding the flaps securely while the adhesive is setting consisting of a number of blocks 9 slightly smaller than the sleeves 10 having spring plates 11 which clamp the ends of the sleeves on the blocks. Handles 12 are provided and the blocks are mounted on a rotatable cylinder or on an endless belt, actuation being by hand or pedal. |
