The present invention provides an indoor position measuring system using a wireless signal transmitter and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the indoor position measuring system comprises a database, a communication part and a control part. The database stores space information corresponding to a predetermined space and position information on each of a plurality of wireless signal transmitters installed in the space. The communication part receives measurement information including identification information and information on the signal strength of a wireless signal from a user terminal receiving the wireless signal including the identification information on the wireless signal transmitters, which is output by the wireless signal transmitters. The control part corrects the signal strength information when the existence of an object positioned between the user terminal and the wireless signal transmitters is determined based on the space information, the position information and the signal strength information and measures a current position of the user terminal based on the corrected correction signal strength information. |
