PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a pipe opening water cut-off method for reducing load applied to a joining part between a manhole peripheral wall and a rigid pipe and preventing ground water from flowing into a manhole; and a water cut-off device.SOLUTION: A pipe opening water cut-off method is used to stop water at a joining part between a manhole peripheral wall and a rigid pipe extending from the manhole peripheral wall. The pipe opening water cut-off method is performed through steps of: arranging a shield member on an inner peripheral wall part of a manhole and an inner peripheral part of a rigid pipe; arranging a pressurization adjustment member on a place of the shield member covering the inner peripheral wall part of the manhole; arranging a pressing fixture member so as to cover the pressurization adjustment member; fixing a plurality of fixing members to the pressing fixture member; and injecting a coagulant between the shield member and the inner peripheral part of the rigid pipe. |
