An electric rice cooker is provided, which comprises an inner pot (30) and an inner cover (10), wherein the inner cover (10) covers an opening of the inner pot (30), and at least part of the inner surface of the inner cover (10) projects toward the direction away from the inner pot (30); and at least part of the inner surface of the inner pot (30) has an outward projecting shape. At least part of the inner surface of the inner pot (30) is in a shape favorable for circulating flow of hot airflows, and at least part of the inner surface of the inner cover (10) is in a shape favorable for circulating flow of hot airflows, thus being favorable for forming vortex airflows in the space defined by the inner pot (30) and the inner cover (10) together, and producing more effective circulating thermal convection, so that the heating in the pot is more uniform. |
