PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver supported catalyst having a high activity for oxidation of carbon monoxide, and a method for efficiently removing carbon monoxide from a water vapor-containing gas with use of the catalyst.SOLUTION: The catalyst for oxidation of carbon monoxide includes silver elements supported on a titanium dioxide carrier and at least one kind of element which produces oxygen defect structure in titanium dioxide. The method for removing carbon monoxide in a gas uses the catalyst. |
