PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a piezoelectric motor and simplify the structure.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric motor vibrates a vibration body including a piezoelectric material in a bending direction and a stretching direction and places a protruding part provided at a stretching direction end part of the vibration body in contact with an object thereby moving the object. In the piezoelectric motor, a housing case housing the vibration body and a support medium are connected by using a first flat spring and a second flat spring at two positions different from each other in the stretching direction, and the housing case is biased in the stretching direction of the vibration body. This structure holds the housing case so as not to move in directions other than the stretching direction while using the first flat spring and the second flat spring to make the housing case movable in the stretching direction. As a result, providing a mechanism for holding the vibration body so as not to move in the directions other than the stretching direction is not needed. Consequently, the structure of the piezoelectric motor is simplified and the downsizing of the piezoelectric motor is achieved. |
