PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting type two-stage bicycle parking device capable of increasing the number of bicycles parked in a limited space, and an upper stage device thereof.SOLUTION: An upper stage device in a lifting type two-stage bicycle parking device is provided with an upper stage rack, a post, and energization means for upward energization. A fixed pitch in a plan view of the upper stage rack is set to be a narrower pitch such that a non-interference interval between the handlebars of adjacent bicycles becomes minus to cause interference, than the pitch in the case that all bicycles are loaded from their front sides into a plurality of upper stage racks and non-interference intervals are provided between the handlebars of adjacent bicycles. The upper stage rack eliminates interference between the handlebars due to the narrower pitch by alternately distributing the handlebars of the adjacent bicycles on the front and the rear side in the state that front loading of bicycles loaded from their front sides and rear loading of bicycles loaded from their rear sides are alternately arranged. Thereby, each upper stage rack loaded with a bicycle is allowed to be moved up and down. |
