PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device which is compact in size and excellent in heat radiation by integrating a motor and a control device.SOLUTION: An ECU 12 is housed in an ECU housing 40 formed with a brushless motor 18 and an ECU cover 25. A plurality of power modules 28 is arranged at the outer peripheral part of the brushless motor 18, and between a motor housing 24 and a power module 28, a heat sink 26 is disposed to radiate heat generated from a switching element such as an FET of the power module 28. In the heat sink 26, a rotation-axis direction bottom is brought into contact with the upper end surface of the gear housing 22 of a speed reduction mechanism 19 to be fixed with a screw. The control board 29 of the ECU 12 is fixed to the upper outer side of the motor housing 24, and electrically connected to the power module 28 and a power supply circuit. An ECU cover 25 covering the brushless motor 18 and the ECU 12 is fixed to the gear housing 22. |
