The present invention relates to a Wi-Fi access point apparatus and method which can automatically restore a Wi-Fi system even without a manual action when an operation error of the Wi-Fi system occurs. A method for restoring an operation error in a Wi-Fi access point according to an aspect of the present invention includes the steps of: (a) setting or updating an automatic reset period according to a selection from a user equipment accessed through an Internet or Ethernet; (b) storing information on the set or updated automatic reset period; (c) determining whether the corresponding automatic reset period arrives, on the basis of the stored information; and (d) automatically resetting a corresponding Wi-Fi access point apparatus when it is determined that the corresponding automatic reset period arrives, wherein in the step (a), the automatic reset period can be set in units of days, hours, or minutes according to a selection of a user, and the number of times of repeating can be set to be a set period. |
