PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side mirror for a vehicle capable of solving a problem caused by an outer end portion of a mirror uncovered with a mirror holder by forming the mirror holder of a plate member smaller than the mirror, reducing weight of the mirror holder and commonizing between a plurality of vehicle types.SOLUTION: When the mirror 2 is largely tilted, a mirror surface angle regulation stopper 92 abuts on the vicinity of the outer end portion 2a on a left oblique upper side of the mirror 2 to limit a maximum tilting angle of the mirror 2. Accordingly, the outer end portion 2b on a right oblique lower side of the mirror 2 is prevented from being exposed to the outside (a rear side) from a rear end position EL (chain line) of a mirror housing 4 and the sharp outer end portion 2b of the mirror 2 is prevented from being exposed to the outside of the mirror housing 4. |
