PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame member for an in-vehicle display device, which can have improved appearance design, improved operability of an operation part, and improved impact resistance, and can be made thin and low-cost, and an in-vehicle display device including the frame member for an in-vehicle display device.SOLUTION: The frame member for an in-vehicle display device has a frame body 11, and one frame piece 11a is provided with an operation part 13 which is provided so as to project from a front surface of an operation panel, and at least a part of other frame pieces 11b to 11d is provided with fixing parts 8a to 8c which are provided on an inner peripheral surface of the frame body 11 and are brought into contact with edge parts of a rear surface of the operation panel to fix the operation panel. The frame body 11, the operation part 13, and the fixing parts 8a to 8c are integrally formed, and the fixing parts 8a to 8c are not continuously formed at both end parts of one frame piece 11a. When the operation panel is fixed to a front surface of the frame body 11, the fixing parts 8a to 8c are located at edge parts of the rear surface of the operation panel and the operation part 13 is located at an edge part of the front surface of the operation panel. |
