An additive supply device for an engine, the additive supply device includes an additive supply system, a heater, an intake air temperature sensor and a heating control unit. The additive supply system is positioned outside of an engine compartment, and the additive supply system includes a tank, a pump, a supply passage. The heater heats the additive inside the additive supply system. The heating control unit is configured to (i) actuate the heater when a detected intake air temperature is low, and stop the actuation of the heater when the detected intake air temperature rises, and (ii) continue the actuation of the heater when a condition under which the detected intake air temperature and the temperature of the additive inside the additive supply system have deviated from each other is fulfilled during the actuation of the heater. |
