摘要 The apparatus with a micro-structure to separate at least one type of particle and/or complex of particles from a fluid, e.g. blood, has at least one inlet (2), a collection section (11) and a movement flow path (15) between them. The movement path incorporates, in succession, a resuspension zone and an incubation zone and separation/retention of at least part of the complex and/or slow the movement with a further and similar separation/retention zone (8). The separation/retention zones have micro-structures as pockets (6a) and bars (53,54) across or at an angle to the flow direction. Before incubation, the fluid passes over particles coated with a substance, as polymer or glass balls with a diameter of 0.05-200.0 mum. The fluid passes through by a capillary or electro-osmosis action.
