PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth permanent magnet and a method of manufacturing the same, capable of preventing magnetic characteristics from being reduced.SOLUTION: A compound 12 is formed by pulverizing a magnet material into a magnet powder and mixing the pulverized powder and a binder composed of a polymer or a copolymer of a monomer including no oxygen atom. A green sheet 14 is produced by molding the formed compound 12 in a sheet-like shape. Subsequently, magnetic field orientation of the molded green sheet 14 is performed and a calcination processing is performed by holding the green sheet 14 under a non-oxidation atmosphere pressurized to a pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure at 200°C to 900°C for several hours. Next, a permanent magnet 1 is manufactured by sintering the green sheet 14 at a burning temperature. |
