PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation phase detection device of a synchronous motor which can surely and speedily detect a rotation phase of the synchronous motor with one position sensor.SOLUTION: A phase estimation part 5 includes: first phase estimation means which estimates a phase from the sum of a reference phase from a reference phase detection part 10 and an interpolation phase obtained by integrating start-up acceleration from start-up with an integrator 12 in a first period from start-up of a synchronous motor 1 with the start-up acceleration from a start-up speed generation part 13 to the second detection of changeover of a position sensor signal; and second phase estimation means which estimates a phase from the sum of a reference phase based on the changed position sensor signal and an interpolation phase obtained by integrating rotational speed detected before the changeover from the changeover in a second period after the elapse of the first period. |
