PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an olefin polymer of a high molecular weight and a high melting point by polymerizing an olefin such as a propylene even under a hot condition that can be industrialized.SOLUTION: A method for producing an olefin polymer has a process for polymerizing an olefin under a condition of 40°C or higher in the presence of an olefin polymerization catalyst that contains (A) a crosslinked metallocene compound of titanium, zirconium, and hafnium which has a ligand in which non-substituted cyclopentadienyl group and 2,7-(substituted phenyl) fluorenyl group are crosslinked, (B) at least one compound selected from (b-1) an organoaluminum oxy compound, etc. |
