PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when an angle at which conveying paths cross each other is large, the conveyance of paper stops or a layer of the surface of paper cracks if paper with high rigidity passes at the section where the conveyance paths cross each other, and the problem that if the angle at which the conveying paths cross each other is decreased, the size of a recording apparatus increases.SOLUTION: A recording apparatus includes: a sheet feed cassette 25 as a first storage part for storing a sheet P1 as a first recording medium; a hopper 6 as a second storage part for storing a sheet P2 as a second recording medium; a recording part 14 for performing recording on the sheets P1 and P2; a first conveying path that communicates the recording part 14 with the sheet feed cassette 25; a second conveying path that communicates the recording part 14 with the hopper 6; and an intermediate conveying roller 8 that rotates in a first rotational direction D1 when conveying the sheet P1 to the first conveying path, and rotates in a second rotational direction D2 opposite to the first rotational direction D1 when conveying the sheet P2 to the second conveying path. |
