The present invention relates to a method for recovering indium and an acid from indium-containing waste etchant using solvent extraction. More particularly, the method comprises carrying out solvent extraction of indium-containing waste etchant and other process sludge to recover valuable indium (In) metal selectively and efficiently and purifying acid waste water generated during the above-mentioned process so that the acid waste water may be reused as an etching solution. According to the present invention, it is possible to recycle resources, to recover high-purity indium through a process based on solvent extraction, to increase indium recovery ratio through an efficient and simple extraction process, thereby contributing to recycle of a rare metal, to reuse the acid waste water after its purification and recovery, thereby reducing the amount of an acid used for etching and reducing the manufacturing cost of a transparent electrode, and to provide eco-friendly characteristics. |
