[Class 141] A necktie comprises in combination a neckband part of thin smooth tape and two ends parts 6 attached or attachable one at each of its opposite ends and of the same shape and size but of different materials or colours or patterns, so that the tie may have two or more wearing faces and double ends. The tie ends 6 may be kept in alignment in wear by a loop on the shirt front or by weighting the tie ends. The connection of the band 5 to the ends 6 may be by hooks and eyes or the like so that various end parts may be substituted. Material forming the tie ends may be formed of one or two pieces stitched together at the edges and then turned outside in. In wear, the tie may be passed through oblique loops of tape secured on the collar band on opposite sides of the stud hole and nearer the front stud holes than the rear.</p> |
