PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raindrop detection device capable of setting an operation mode of a wiper device according to an inclination angle of a window glass.SOLUTION: In a rain sensor 3 equipped with a microcomputer 30 detecting the amount of raindrops adhered to an outer surface of a window glass 1 and controlling the wiper device 2 according to the amount of the raindrops, the microcomputer 20 is provided with raindrop detecting means 20 for detecting the amount of the raindrops on the basis of output according to the reflectance of light emitted to an inner surface of the window glass 1, and an operation mode setting portion 34 for setting an operation mode of the wiper device 2 according to an inclination angle of the windowglass 1 determined by a vehicle ID possessed by a vehicle and stored in a frame transmitted by CAN8 communication. Therefore, the inclination angle of the window glass 1 which is a wiping object of the wiper device 2 can be accurately identified. |
