A cable restraint comprises a cable restraining means 10, a housing 8 and a sealing member 9. The sealing member bears upon the cable restraining means and the housing. The housing has a lip (12, Fig 3) on its inner wall so that the cable restraining means is retained within the housing. The restraining means and the lip may have chamfered portions to allow the restraining means to snap in, or the lip may be discontinuous and the restraining means have flanges 11 and indentations 15 so that the restraining means may be pushed in and then rotated to retain it. The cable restraining means may include barbs 14. |
