PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a simple and inexpensive structure, in which a discharged paper sheet can be discharged onto a discharged paper sheet-stacking unit without contacting with a paper roll on a paper roll support, and adhesion of dust or the like to the paper roll can be prevented.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: the paper roll support 61 disposed below an apparatus body 1 to support the paper roll 4 such that the paper sheet 10 can be fed from the paper roll 4; an image forming portion 3 for forming an image on the paper sheet 10 fed from the paper roll support 61; a paper sheet discharging portion 20 positioned downstream from the image forming portion 3 in a paper sheet conveyance direction to discharge the paper sheet 10 having the image thereon in a paper sheet discharge direction Xa; a paper sheet discharging guide plate 28 for guiding the paper sheet 10 discharged from the paper sheet discharging portion 20 to the front of the apparatus body 1; and a paper sheet discharging bucket 50 for stacking the paper sheet 10 passing the paper sheet discharging guide plate 28.
