PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver characteristic determination device and a driver characteristic determination system capable of estimating the attentive power and the judgment power of a driver even when a sub-task operation is not accompanied.SOLUTION: The driver characteristic determination device includes: a vehicle information acquisition unit 11 for acquiring a travel speed of a self vehicle; a map database 13 for storing map data; a positional information detection unit 12 for detecting a self vehicle position in the map data; a driver characteristic determination unit 20 for detecting an average vehicle speed and an average merging start point under a plurality of situations where the self vehicle enters a traveling lane L3 from a merging lane L2 and determining an attentive power of a driver of the self vehicle on the basis of this detection result; and a support presentation unit 18 for presenting this determination result. By adopting a constitution like this, the attentive power of the driver can be determined. |
