PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely inhibit overheat of a heating member.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: a fixing device having a heating member configured to be heated by a heat source, a backup member for holding a recording sheet with the heating member, and a temperature sensor for detecting temperature of the heating member; a motor for rotating at least one of the backup member and the heating member; and a control unit for controlling the heat source and the motor. The control unit is configured to allow execution of an intermittent control for executing each of stopping the motor and restarting the motor after the stop is executable at least once at an end of printing. The control unit is configured to execute the intermittent control (time t1) on a condition that the temperature detected at the temperature sensor is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature (TH2). |
