The project called improvised home energy saving device aimed as substitute for expensive commercially existing power saving device. The simple connections were generally inside a PVC box which serves as the case of the circuit . The circuit includes two capacitors of equal tested values connected in parallel which store electricity. Inside the box were fuse box containing fuse tube which automatically shut off in case of performance failure thus avoiding fire hazard, while the switch controls the use of the device. The circuit inside the PVC box is extended outside the box through the use of an AC 1.5m cord so the device can be securely placed out of reach of children. The improvised home energy saving device can reduce electrical consumption up to 32.8 pcnt . |
