PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning apparatus which can suppress an increase of pressure in a compressor even if the compressor continues operation at a given rotation frequency at the start of the air conditioning apparatus.SOLUTION: The air conditioning apparatus executes first start control and second start control for start control. In the first start control, a first outdoor heat exchanger functions as an evaporator and a second outdoor heat exchanger functions as a condenser. Even if the compressor continues operation at a given rotation frequency, an increase of discharge pressure and an increase of pressure in the compressor can be suppressed. After the completion of the first start control, the first outdoor heat exchanger and second outdoor heat exchanger are all set as evaporators and the compressor is operated continuously at the given rotation frequency so that the rise time of heating capacity can be shortened at the start of a regular heating operation. |
