PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of buckling and suppress deformation of an engaging claw and an engaging hole, and to improve assembling property.SOLUTION: In a boot band, on one end part 21 of a steel strip-like member 20, an engaging claw 32 protruding from the outer peripheral surface thereof and a first tool claw 41 protruding from the outer periphery, are disposed, and on the other end part 22 of the steel strip-like member 20, a second tool claw 42 protruding from the outer peripheral surface thereof and an engaging hole 33 into which the engaging claw 32 is to be fitted are disposed. The steel strip-like member 20 is wound around the outer periphery of a boot in a ring form and the one end part 21 thereof is made to overlap with the other end part 22 such that the one end part 21 comes inside. The boot is fastened by making the first tool claw 41 and the second tool claw 42 approach each other to lock the engaging claw 32 to a peripheral edge 34 of the engaging hole 33. Protrusions 51 protruding from the inner peripheral surface of the steel strip-like member 20 are provided on both sides of the steel strip-like member 20 in a longitudinal direction between the second tool claw 42 and the engaging hole 33, and notches 52 into which the protrusions 51 are fitted respectively, are provided on both sides of the steel strip-like member 20 in the longitudinal direction between the first tool claw 41 and the engaging claw 32. |
