The present invention aims to provide male absorbent pads improved so that the fit to the pads may be improved by partially convexing the article outward along a wearer's body shape. A male absorbent pad has a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction being orthogonal to each other, a skin-facing surface and a non-skin-facing surface opposed to the former and a longitudinal axis P bisecting a dimension in the transverse direction, and including a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and a liquid-absorbent core interposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The pad main body has flexion-inducing grooves recessing from the skin-facing surface toward the non-skin-facing surface. The flexion-inducing grooves have a first groove obliquely extending across the longitudinal axis and a second groove extending in a direction intersecting with the longitudinal axis and with the first groove; and an intersection point M of the first groove 41 and the second groove 42 lies on the longitudinal axis P. |
