PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical parking facility which can preferably cope with diversification of vehicles.SOLUTION: A mechanical parking facility guides a vehicle approached into a boarding and alighting room 12 to a storage shelf. The mechanical parking facility includes: a vehicle attribute acquisition unit which acquires an attribute of the vehicle before the vehicle approaches into the room 12; a housing area determination part which determines the vehicle housing area in the boarding and alighting room 12 based on the attribute obtained by the vehicle attribute acquisition unit; a left squeeze-out sensor 36 for detecting the squeeze-out of the vehicle from a boundary of the vehicle housing area determined by the housing area determination part; a right squeeze-out sensor 38; a front squeeze-out sensor 37 and a post squeeze-out sensor 39; and a move part moving each sensor according to the attribute of the vehicle. |
