A fish striking device for attachment to a fishing rod and line comprises a channel body containing tension means one end of which is retained at one end of the channel and the other end of which is fixed to a trigger mechanism slidably mounted on the channel which trigger mechanism is releaseably retained on the channel and engages the Sine of the fishing rod such that when a fish pulls on the line the trigger mechanism is released and the Sine is pulled taught by the released tension means. |
