PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a sludge dewatering agent that has excellent flocculation and high cake water content decrease capability for a sewage mixed raw sludge, a sewage surplus sludge, a sewage digestion sludge, and various surplus sludge in a sewage treatment plant, and concretely to develop a formulation in which though a water-soluble polymer having a vinylamine structural unit exerts an excellent effect on the various surplus sludge, a price is high and a treatment pH range is very limited, thereby the water-soluble polymer having the vinylamine structural unit is replaced by a (meth)acrylic water-soluble polymer used widely as a commercial product by using a part of thereof as it is.SOLUTION: A flocculant that includes: a cationic water-soluble polymer (A) obtained by polymerizing a specific monomer; an amphoteric water-soluble polymer (B); and a water-soluble polymer (C) having a vinylamine structural unit is added to various surplus sludge. As for a product form of the flocculant, a water-in-oil type emulsion or a powder product is especially desirable. |
