The present invention relates to a centrifugal pump including an impeller (10) embedded in a circular casing (50). According to the present invention, while a closed type impeller (10) which a vane (10) connects an outer periphery of a diamond type upper and lower plate (30, 20) is formed, an inlet (25) is formed in a central part of the lower plate (20) and an outlet (15) is symmetrically formed in both side vanes (40), so an integrated protruding plate body is not formed in the upper and lower outside. According to the present invention, the self-weight of the impeller (10) can be remarkably reduced, and an unnecessary contact surface between the impeller (10) and a fluid is reduced, so power needed to operate the impeller (10) is reduced and the efficiency of a pump can be increased. |
