FIELD: mining.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanised coal extraction from flat seams. Method of producing a thick seam with underroof coal discharge involves mechanised coal extraction in the undermining layer and underroof coal discharge to the face conveyer in the workspace of the mining face. Extraction pillar preparation is carried out by layering headings - ventilation, transportation and mounting chambers - near the seam floor. Prior to mounting support sections it is required to determine prevailing direction of natural cracks in coal massif formation of the underroof above the mounting chamber, then, in accordance with planned direction of support sections movement, on each support section cover a mechanical cleaver is installed, which rib is directed perpendicular to the preferred direction of natural cracks in coal massif formation of the underroof. At each section support thrust between soil and ceiling of the undercut layer the cleaver is introduced into coal massif formation of the underroof, relieving it and initiating occurrence of artificial cracks in it directed perpendicular to the natural ones.EFFECT: higher efficiency of thick coal seam producing, reducing the probability of the support section discharge opening ratholing during the discharge are achieved.1 cl, 1 dwg |
