PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a titanium fuel cell separator capable of suppressing the possibility of peeling of a carbon-based conductive layer in handling after press molding by successfully coating a surface of a base material with the carbon-based conductive layer, and maintaining conductivity for a long time even under a high temperature and acid atmosphere inside a fuel cell.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a titanium fuel cell separator includes: a step S1 of forming a carbon layer containing graphite on a surface of a base material made of pure titanium or titanium alloy (carbon layer forming step); a step S3 of forming a conductive resin layer containing a carbon powder and a resin on the base material in which the carbon layer is formed after the carbon layer forming step S1 (conductive resin layer forming step); and a step S4 of forming a gas passage by press-molding the base material in which the carbon layer and the conductive resin layer are formed after the conductive resin layer forming step S3 (press-molding step). |
