A current peak value calculating portion 106 calculates a peak value of a current passing through a primary coil according to the detected charge voltage and the secondary side discharge time. An on-time calculating portion 107 calculates on-time of a switch element connected to the primary coil in series, according to a current peak value setting value for setting the peak value of the current passing through the primary coil and a primary side current peak value. A switch side control portion 110 controls the switch element to be turned on/off according to the calculated on-time.
