PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store, in memory of a storage body, information related to a printed volume so as to check the history and actual condition of usage of the storage body.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a storage body, including a print part and a memory for storing data, for replenishing the print part with color materials in accordance with consumption of the color materials in printing; and a data communication part that is disposed communicably with the memory, causes the memory to store status information related to the status of the storage body and cumulative count value data related to a cumulative total of prints in the aforementioned status for each piece of the status information, and causes the memory to update the cumulative count value data so as to add a count value related to printing executed by the print part to the cumulative count value data related to the status information corresponding to a status of the storage body when executing printing when the printing is performed in the image forming apparatus. |
