A curved display device (10) includes a curved display panel (100) and a curved backlight unit (BLU, 200). The curved display panel (100) receives a light to display an image and has a first radius (R1) of curvature. The curved backlight unit (BLU, 200) is disposed under the curved display panel (100) to provide the light to the curved display panel (100) and has a second radius (R2) of curvature. The curved backlight unit (BLU, 200) includes a plurality of light sources (210) and a plurality of scattering units (20). The light sources (210) emit the light and the scattering units (220) scatter at least a portion of the light.
