[Class 144 (i)] The studs or equivalent devices 3, Fig. 2, over which a snap-on closure-cap 4 is fitted to cover the centre-portion of a detachable wheel 1 are provided with rubber or like resilient seatings for the engaging rim-portion of the cap. In the form shown in Fig. 3, the seating 6 is fitted in a groove in the stem of a coned stud 5. Fig. 6 shows a modification in which a resilient sleeve 12 is fitted on a reduced portion 11 of the stud which is detachably secured to the wheel by a rubber cap 13 sprung over the inner headed end of the stud. In a further modification, the complete stud is formed of resilient material.
