The present invention relates to an adhesive type eye patch. More particularly, a divalent metal salt capsule of alginic acid is arranged between a base sheet and a layer for skin contact in the adhesive type eye patch. The adhesive type eye patch effectively protects eyes from behaviors in an unconscious condition such as sleep, and allows a patient to administer a drug to the eyes by oneself by applying a fixed amount of pressure to the divalent metal salt capsule of alginic acid arranged inside the eye patch when the patient is wearing the eye patch.
