PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic information reading device which can demodulate and decode magnetic data on both sides of a magnetic information recording medium with magnetic stripes formed on both sides, of which tracks in which magnetic data having different recording densities are recorded are arranged in a position so as to overlap each other through both sides when viewed from a thickness direction with a relatively simple configuration.SOLUTION: In this magnetic information reading device, a control circuit 63 includes two processing circuits 72 and 73 which are connected to a channel 55b of a magnetic head 55 in parallel, and an arithmetic circuit 64 to which the processing circuits 72 and 73 are connected. The processing circuit 72 and 73 include demodulation signal generating circuits 68. The arithmetic circuit 64 generates demodulation data and decoded data on the basis of signals for demodulation input from two demodulation signal generating circuits 68, and determines which of decoded data on the basis of the signals input from two demodulation signal generating circuits 68 is valid. |
