摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spline telescopic shaft which can maintain high-accurate fitting between an inner shaft and an outer shaft for a long period of time.SOLUTION: An intermediate shaft 5 comprises an inner ring 35 which is slidably fit in the axial direction, and a cylindrical outer shaft 36. An outer spline 37 of the inner ring 35 and an inner spline 38 of the outer ring 36 are fit to each other. A resin membrane 39 is formed at least at a tooth face 37a of the outer spline 37. The resin membrane 39 is applied with heating fitting treatment between zero-fitting gaps or negative fitting gaps with respect to the tooth face of the inner spline 38 of the outer ring 36. After a resin layer of a thermoplastic resin applied on a surface of the core grid of the inner ring or the outer ring is molded by a mating shaft or a tool, the heating fitting treatment is applied which heats a surface layer of the resin membrane to a melting point or higher of the thermoplastic resin by a friction slide with respect to the mating shaft, and melts the surface layer.
