[Class 24] [Also in Group XXX] A chain composed of alternating roller links 1 and pin links 2 has load supporting means on each link consisting of two laterally projecting flanges 12 and 13 extending outwardly from the upper and lower edge of a link plate, the upper faces of the flanges 13 at the lower edges of the roller links being in the same plane as the lower edges 11 of the end portions of the pin and making contact therewith when the chain is straight. The flanges may have registering perforations with which may engage the legs of carrier frames for articles such as lithograph plates. |
