The device (10) has embossing units provided with female and male dies (12, 14) and toothed wheels (15, 16). The units are connected with male and female die shafts (13, 14), which are adjustable in height. The female and male dies are coupled with each other. A locking device prevents rotation of one of the units on the female die shaft. The shafts are arranged parallel to each other. The male shaft is moved relative to the female shaft by an actuator (21) e.g. peizoactuator, such that the wheels engage with each other during an embossing process. The dies are synchronized with each other. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for positioning of embossing into a folding box (2) a method for quality control of products. |
