The invention is related to a helicopter with a fuselage (1), at least two engines (3) substantially inside said fuselage (1), an air intake (4) for each of said two engines (3) and at least two separate lateral air inlet ports (2) for said at least two engines (3) in said fuselage (1). Said separate lateral air inlet ports (2) being arranged on sides opposed to each other relative to an essentially vertical midplane of said fuselage (1) and oriented with their respective cross section substantially parallel to a forward flight direction of the helicopter. At least one frontal air inlet port (5) with a forward portion is provided separate from said lateral air inlet ports (2), said frontal air inlet port (5) being located on a gear cowling of the fuselage (1) oriented with its cross section substantially perpendicular to the forward flight direction of the helicopter. |
