The present invention relates to a liquid intake quantity measurement device for an animal experiment. More specifically, the weight (or amount) of a liquid taken in by an experiment object animal used in an animal experiment can be accurately measured, and thus reliability on the experiment result can be enhanced. According to the present invention, as to a cage with an internal breeding space in which an experiment object animal is bred, the liquid intake quantity measurement device for an animal experiment includes: a mounting housing disposed on one side of a cage, a communication port communicating with a communication hole formed in the cage on one side thereof, a first mounting frame having a first mounting hole, and a second mounting frame having a second mounting hole, wherein the first and second mounting holes are penetrated on the upper and lower sides of the mounting frames; a liquid supply tube mounted on the first mounting hole of the first mounting frame, storing the liquid taken in by the experiment object animal therein, and having a liquid discharge pipe in a lower portion for liquid discharge; and a liquid recovery tube mounted on the second mounting hole of the second mounting frame in a state of being coupled with the liquid supply tube to be positioned inside an end portion of the liquid discharge pipe, having an opening hole communicating with the breeding space on one side to correspond to the communication hole, and recovering the liquid not taken in and dropping downwards when the experiment object animal takes in the liquid through the liquid discharge pipe. |
