PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater divergent light communication device which is able to perform stable underwater divergent light communication by use of divergent light.SOLUTION: An underwater divergent light communication device is comprised of: a divergent light transmitter 6 for radiating to transmit divergent light on which a modulated transmission signal is superposed into water; and a divergent light receiver 7 for receiving, in the water, the divergent light on which the modulated transmission signal is superposed radiated by the divergent light transmitter 6. The divergent light transmitter 6 comprises a transmitting side lens optical system 8 for radiating the divergent light radiated by a light-emitting element from an opening with a first aperture. The divergent light receiver 7 comprises a receiving side lens optical system 9 injecting the divergent light radiated by the light-emitting element of the divergent light transmitter 6 and the transmitting side lens optical system 8 through an opening with a second aperture having an angle range wider than the transmitting side lens optical system 8 and larger than the first aperture. |
