PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad rail fastening system that dispenses with an assembly for holding a screw-type fastener.SOLUTION: A fixing device 4 for a railroad rail fastening clip for holding an elastic clip 3 for fastening a railroad rail is suitable for being used on a base plate 2 for the railroad rail, which includes a first erect rib 21 positioned near a rail seat area on the base plate 2 and having a penetrating opening and a second erect rib provided almost in parallel with the first rib 21 and in a position away from the rail seat area. The device includes a body section with a base, and clip engaging means 43 for being engaged with the clip 3 is provided on the base. Thus, the clip 3 is kept in an operable constitution; the clip 3 supports a leg of the railroad rail close to the fixing device 4 when the fixing device is used; and the body section is pushed in a first direction so that the clip 3 can be engaged with the clip engaging means 43. |
