PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolation device capable of preventing the generation of cracks or breaks due to vibrations of minute amplitude on a member which absorbs vibration energy by deforming.SOLUTION: A seismic isolation damper 1 includes: an upper flange 2 installed between an upper structure and a lower structure of a structure, absorbing vibration energy, and connected to the upper structure; a lower flange 3 connected to the lower structure; and a body 10 disposed between the upper flange 2 and the lower flange 2, coupling those flanges, and formed by elastoplastic material. On at least a part of a surface of the body 10, a coating portion 20 is formed. |
