The invention relates to a porous film having having a polyolefin microporous film and a thermoplastic polymer coating layer covering at least a part of at least one of surfaces of the polyolefin microporous film, wherein the thermoplastic polymer coating layer contains a thermoplastic polymer having a glass-transition temperature in a range of -10°C or more and 40°C or less, and the degree of swelling of the thermoplastic polymer with an electrolytic solution of 5 times or less.
The invention further relates to a separator formed of the porous film and an electricity storage device comprising said separator.
