The power semiconductor module (1) has concentric strip guards (10,20) that are arranged around a midpoint of a substrate. Each strip guard is equipped with semiconductor components (12a,22a,22b) comprising the load terminal elements (50,60,70). The load terminal elements are comprised of contact elements (54,64,74) and base structures (52,62,72) that are concentric and are closely arranged with respect to each other. The contact elements are electrically contacted with the contact surfaces (16,26,38) of the strip guards.
